Welcome to my very first post!

I am starting this blog in hope that my future posts will inspire creations and adventures. I'm not going to tell people how to live their life, but instead I will post about my joys, struggles, adventures, and the happiness Oregon brings me.

I'm in the spring term of my freshman year at Western Oregon University. So far, I have learned that college is pretty stressful. I'm living in the dorms, which is not as fun as it sounds. After fall term, my roommate transferred to a new school, and the same thing happened after my winter term. So here I am now, alone in a dorm built for three people. The goal is to become an elementary school teacher, which really is the sole reason I am here, but it's hard not to feel like I am missing out on the "fun" part of college.

Beside studying to become a teacher, I love art. My dream is to someday sell some of my art. I love music as well. I play the flute, and my loving boyfriend got me a violin this Christmas, so I will be learning to play that. Learning new things and staying healthy is always my resolution.
